UTMB Index
The Gold Run is a UTMB Index Race in the 50K category.
The extremely popular mountain marathon is a classic. The trail leads through the charming valleys of Dischma and Sertig and over the former mule track over the Scaletta Pass and finally the Sertig Pass, where you descend past the beautiful Sertig Dörfli back to Davos.
The route starts at the sports center in Davos and leads through Davos' longest side valley, the Dischma Valley. With a view of the Scaletta Glacier, the trail continues up the Scaletta Pass via the unique Panoramatrail to the Sertig Pass, the highest point of the route at 2,739 m. Steeply, the rough trail leads downhill past the Grüensee lake to the Sertig Dörfli. From there it goes out of the valley through larch and fir forests to the village of Clavadel and on to Davos, where the finish awaits you at the sports center.
